Campus of Institute

Initially in the year 1981 the institute was started in the education College of the University. Since December 1986 this institute started in the newly constructed building of Technical School. Subsequently in year 1985 Government of M.P. allotted 220 Acures of land near Baheria village just 10 km. Away from Sagar City. Where the following construction work has been completed.

• 57 Residential Quarters
• 144 capacity of boys hostel
• 50 capacity of girls hostel
• Workshop Building
• Applied science block
• Civil Engineering block
• Administration block

Since Nov ember 1981 College started with intake of 40 students. In the year 1983 the intake of students capacity had increased from 40 to 80. Earlier it was five year course so the allotment of branch in third year. Hence, in the year 1984-85 Civil Engineering branch and in the year 1985-86. Mechanical Engineering was started with the intake of 40 students each. Electrical Engineering branch in the year 1988-89, Electronics and Telecom. Branch in year 1990-91 and in the year 2000 Information Technology branch were started.

This College had affiliation with Sagar University since its establishment and 2000 onwards. It is now affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi Technological University Bhopal M.P. And it is All India Council for Technical Education (A I C T E) approved.

Student Admitted in the Academic Year 2007-08

Admission of student in first year in done by AIEEE and Professional Examination Board (P.E.T.) on the basis of merit through central counseling.
